San Juan Vacation Rentals will be your connection to paradise. We want your vacation to be a memorable, relaxing, and rejuvenating experience. In order to facilitate this, we have provided the following policies and procedures to help make this a worry free vacation.
Making a Reservation
Two night minimum reservations are required Oct-May of each year. A 3 or more night minimum may be required for stays June-Sept. and for holiday weekends. To make a reservation you may go to the reservation calendar at www.sanjuanrentals.net
for the property you are interested in and the available dates. You may book online at that time or call 360-317-6423 to speak with a reservationist. You will need a Visa or M/C to secure your reservation. A 50% deposit of the total cost of stay will be charged at that time. The remaining balance (including 50% of the taxes and 100% of cleaning fee) will be charged to your credit card after your stay. Posted rates do not include the mandatory 9.8% WA. state, local, and lodging taxes, the cleaning fee, and any pet fee.
Last Minute Reservation
If you are making a last minute booking, call us at 360-317-6423 during business hours in order to secure your stay. If you submit an inquiry or booking on a Sunday, we will be in touch with you the next business day.
You may check in after 4 PM on the day of arrival.
emergency contacts, lock box code and check out information will be provided
prior to your arrival via email (or mail). Following check in,it is essential that you
notify us promptly if anything seems amiss at the unit. It is important that you
review the information binder provided in each property as it contains
property details, operating instructions, emergency procedures and an inventory
of contents. PLEASE do not operate hot tubs, televisions, or electronic devises
until you have reviewed the associated instructions. Improper operation may impair
performance and result in a chargeable service call.
On your check out day, the premises must be vacated by 10 AM. Please respect the
next arrival by being prompt when departing so housekeeping staff can come in and
clean the unit for the next guest.
On departure, please leave all keys and remotes on the kitchen counter or in the lock
box. Concerns for property security make it necessary for us to immediately re-key
the doors and we will have to charge for this emergency service. Missing remotes
may also result in a charge to replace.
Reservations cancelled prior to the thirty days advance notice will be refunded
less 10% of the total amount of the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled
after the 30 days advance notice is due, 80% of the rental amount will be refunded
if the property is re-booked. If the property remains vacant for that time period and
the cancellation occurs after the 30 days,none of the rental amount will be refunded.
No shows are subject to the entire amount of rental fees. Cancellation policy applies
to last minute bookings as well. Any security deposits collected are subject to the
same stipulations as the cancellation policy.
On rare occasions, a reserved property may become unavailable due to unanticipated
conditions beyond our control. SJVR accepts no liability for such an occurrence but
will make every effort to provide you with acceptable alternative accommodations at
the same rental rate. If you do not accept an alternative, unused rental fees will be
refunded less 10% of the total amount of the original reservation.
Each rental property has specific occupancy limits and rules of conduct which must
be enforced. The number of guests and pets (if allowed) that will occupy the rental
space must be stated at the time of booking. Property lines, privacy, and the quiet
enjoyment of the neighbors must be respected at all times. Increased occupancy,
excessive noise, vehicle traffic, or illegal activity will result in additional charges
and possible eviction.
Some properties allow pet stays, subject to specific approval, and a supplemental
daily fee of $25 will be charged. Any costs for damages to the premises will be
charged accordingly to the guest.
Each home is thoroughly cleaned between guests. This charge will be a guest charge.
If you wish a more frequent cleaning, additional housekeeping may be scheduled
for an additional charge. Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at check-out
will result in extended housekeeping hours and may be charged to your credit card.
Should it be necessary to clean carpets, remove stains, repaint, repair finishings, or
replace furnishings or inventory, you will be charged for labor, materials, and
Smoking in the premises of any vacation rental home is prohibited. If tobacco
odor is noted on check-out, additional cleaning charges will apply and fumigation
We encourage guests to recycle as much as possible.
The Islands have limited water resources,especially during peak summer months. We
also ask that guests be mindful of water use during your stay.
